About

I first learned to sew when I was very young. I practiced on my grandmother's old Singer power sewing machine that used an arm which one operated with the right knee.

Then, later my mother came home with a treddle machine which I had for many years. I made a shift on it once that was a real hit with my dad. I remember it was green and white and of an interesting geometric print.

Then finally, I got my own electric machine which I still have today. It has been a real source of enjoyment for me. It has 30 built-in stitches and is a hardy machine.

I've had fun decorating it too. Although the decals have worn off a bit, but still a lot left intact.

It is my ambition to finish making alterations and mending some items that have been long awaiting my attention.
